Welcome back for Week 3's GW Bush League Entertainment. Part 1 includes the intro and analysis for the Commish, Luma, Tieg and Keetz. I'll come out with the rest in Part 2 and we'll also have another interview this week.
And we're back for Part 2 of Week 2. Let's see which performances are real and which are fake.
Week 2 entertainment is here, let's take a look.
Back for part two, let's keep it going. Here we'll look at some notes and observations for Kev, Keetz, the Commish, Tieg and Lamone. Don't forget to wipe.
Gentlemen and Frader,
Welcome to the first round of George W. Bush weekly entertainment. You’ve all been in this league for years and you know the drill – this exceptional and highly visited website is where I’ll recap each week of action. This is a place for me to bitch about my teams, humble brag if I win and passively/aggressively talk shit about each one of you. Ultimately it’s about adding “a little more” to the league above and beyond the box-scores/group texts.
I’ll try to switch it up and keep things fresh from week to week so I hope you enjoy these. In general I won’t be talking about the matchups - you guys can read the box scores yourselves. Instead I’ll try to look at different aspects of the matchups, the teams and the owners. For this week, I’m simply going to make 3 observations about each team. We’ll do it Canadian football style with three downs. It could be anything – how they did, a specific player, an injury, whatever. Since we started with Lamone for the draft recaps, I’ll start with Frader for the Week 1 recaps. Check it out...
Alright everyone, here's the last draft recap. Let's see how our resident hipster did with the #1 pick.
Down to the final 2, let's see how Robby D fared after drafting from the 2nd slot.
Down to the top 3, Ken Peabody on the clock. Let's see how Ken's draft went.....hopefully better than his team name selection process.
Down to the top 4 picks, the "fortunate sons" as CCR used to say. Let's see how Dylan the Chyl Whiting fared in the draft this year.
All down-hill from here, the 5th pick. Let's take a look at how Guy's draft went...... I'm not your Guy, Pal.
Closing out the bottom 5 here. Let's take a look at how Kev's draft went - 6th overall pick.
Welcome back for another GWB 2017 draft recap - up next is the 7th slot. Let's see how Keetz' draft went.
Welcome back to the third draft recap.. Let's take a look at how the Commissioner's draft went after picking out of the 8th slot.
Welcome back to Part 2 - let's take a look at the Tieg's draft, selecting from the 9 hole.
Gentlemen,
The long awaited draft recaps have begun. We’ll go from 10th pick to first pick since drafting early was an advantage this year (more so than others). First up – LUMA.
As always these will be my own personal thoughts on each person’s draft. If you are offended, I’m always open for debate. If you agree, I’m always open for praise. For each team I’ll look at their draft as if it were a sandwich - with a top, middle and bottom. This will represent the first 5 rounds, the middle 5 rounds and the last 5 rounds. I’ll also add a quick note on the strengths and weaknesses of each team and of course, will give my season-long predictions. Here we go again.
Episode 6 Recap is here, better late than never. As with all weeks, here are my thoughts on this past episode of GOT - good, bad and hmmmm.
Episode 5 Recap is here courtesy of your Commissioner. Let's see what worked, what didn't work and what was interesting about Episode 5.
Gonna keep this series going for the rest of this unjustly shortened season of GOT (selfish actors and their pay raises). As with last week we're going to examine 5 things I loved about the episode, 5 things I hated and 5 things I took note of.
My Lords,
I started a series at work for GOT writeups entitled "Five Up, Five Down and Five In Between". It's basically a writeup I do for my co-workers who are also GOT fans. I then figured - most of the league is GOT fans so why not share ideas? So here we are. (This will also get you in the habit of coming to my awesome website for weekly fantasy writeups). Anyway, the premise of this is pretty straightforward, hope you enjoy.
Never too early to think about fantasy football. Here I'll identify the top draft prospects who could have a fantasy impact in 2017.
